Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required; Vocational/technical certificate preferred;
Knowledge of electrical repair is preferred
Adequate performance in previous role required
Able to complete and pass required criteria for Technician II status
Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Understanding of Microsoft Office is preferred
Problem identification and resolution, excellent troubleshooting skills
High mechanical aptitude
Basic understanding of PLC based controls
Excellent organization, planning and administration skills
High capability of multi-tasking
Effective communication
Basic understanding of computer systems and handheld devices
Highly tactful and diplomatic
Able to maintain confidentiality
Adapt to changing needs in fast paced environment
Capable of coping with stressful situations
Effective time management skills
Capable of interpreting blueprints/mechanical drawings
Employee may need to be certified to drive a fork truck and/or man lift.
Mechanical/industrial
Able to work both indoors and outdoors
Capable of assisting in training others on basic repairs
Physical Requirements:
Ability to see and hear (correctable)
Ability to communicate verbally
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer
Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
Ability to lift 75lbs with assistance
Withstand long periods of sitting/standing and repetitive motion
Safety toe shoes required
